"...and Rusty pulls down the rebound." |
Jordan and Rusty love to play basketball with thier daddy. Jordan has to be careful since the ball is almost as big as he is. |
"Sock, anyone? Wanna play tug-a-sock? Anyone, please, anyone...anyone?" |
"We are couple of lazy guys." |
These guys are so sweet....
when they are sleeping. |
This is one of my favorite pictures. This was not staged. I just love it how they are even posed the same. |
I think the look on their faces says it all.... don't you? |

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures |
This section offers a collection of pictures and stories for both of our sweet little furkids. |

My sweet little Jordan was first introduced to me about six weeks after he was born. He was born on April 7, 1994, and at the time, I was unable to have the responsibility of a puppy. I was about to graduate high school and move into the dorm. However, I did stay in contact with the breeder even after she sent Jordan to his first home. Throughout his puppyhood, I got to see Jordan on occasion and always loved him and wanted him. A little over a year after he was born, my living arrangements changed and I was able to have a puppy. I could choose whatever kind of dog I wanted...but I wanted Jordan. I made a phone call and lucky for me (and Jordan), Jordan's owner was having problems with the responsibility and was willing to give him up to me. That is how it all began. He was over a year old when he became my first furkid. I know he has adjusted well to the transition.... We treat him like a king. |

Jordan at about 12 weeks. This is the ONLY puppy picture I have of Jordan...so it is a special one. |
"Hey, who turned me into a cartoon?" |
It's hard to get a good picture of Jordan. For some reason, he is scared of the camera. If he is doing something cute, I'll try to turn it on in the other room so he can't hear the buzz. It never works. I know it has something to do with the flash. The above (right) picture was hard to do. I was holding a treat over my head and bribing him not to run. The picture below (right) is a different story. He hasn't quite figured out what the digital camera is....yet!!! |
"I'm hiding from Mom. She's got that camera out again." |
"This has got to be the BIGGEST bathtub I have ever seen!" |
"Look at me...I'm walking. I'm a "people"!" |
Rusty was born on December 23, 1997. He is Jordan's half brother (they share the same father). I hate to admit it now, but I wasn't really excited about getting another puppy...but I was only half of this decision...and I didn't win. His first purpose was to be a playmate for Jordan. He quickly became my second beloved furkid. I didn't have to housebreak Jordan or deal with other puppy antics so I was hesitant about starting from the beginning. However, that was all forgotten when Rusty turned out to be a really good puppy and so incredibly adorable. These guys are the best of friends...but they do have a little bit of sibling rivalry. Isn't that to be expected, though?

Rusty at 8 weeks. He was such a doll...and still is. |
The above and below pictures ARE of the same dog. I know, it can't be. In the above, Rusty looks so sophisticated...
In the below...NOT, but really cute. |
The above picture was taken at the same time as the earlier pictures of Jordan in front of the tractor blanket. As you can see, Rusty's reaction to the treat is a little more obvious than Jordan's. |
"Peek-a-boo...I'm hiding from you!" |
"I am THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!!!" (Can you see my brother in this picture?) |
The picture to the left was chosen as the
"Sunrise Snapshot" for October 16, 2001 on KWTV TV Channel 9.
